Do I need to connect a Google account?
No. The app reads your Shopify store only. It never touches your Merchant Center or Google Ads account.
Will it change my store on its own?
No. Drafts are yours to edit, and nothing is written to your store until you press publish. A draft with unreplaced placeholders can't be published at all.
What can it see?
Products, legal policies and online store pages, plus your public homepage. It does not request customer, order or payment data.
Where does my store's text go?
Policy, page and product text is sent to Anthropic's API for the AI review and drafting. Nothing else leaves the app. See the privacy policy.
I'm already suspended. Will this get me reinstated?
No app can promise that; Google decides. What this does is find and fix the causes you control, then draft the note you send with your review request.
Why does it say my storefront is password-protected?
Google can't review a store it can't see. If your store is behind a password, that blocks Merchant Center regardless of everything else.
Why is my score the same after I fixed things?
The score only changes on a new run. Re-run the audit. Each finding takes a share of the score by severity, so criticals move it most.
It flagged a claim I can prove.
Substantiated claims can still read as risky to a reviewer. Keep the claim if you can support it, and put the evidence on the page.
How do I cancel?
From your Shopify admin, under Settings then Apps. Uninstalling stops billing and deletes your stored audit reports.
Known limits
- Checkout pages and Merchant Center account settings aren't visible to the app.
- Product-page price checks only run on stores without a storefront password.
- The audit samples large catalogs rather than reading every product.
Troubleshooting
"Shopify API error" when running an audit
Usually permissions. Open the app again and approve any prompt; if it persists, reinstall the app.
The audit is slow
The AI review can take a minute or two on large catalogs. Leave the page open.
